CASE DESCRIPTION

UT Physicians, affiliated with McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), is a multi-specialty practice in Houston, TX. The OBGYN practice is chaired by Dr. Sean Blackwell, and delivers prenatal care to over 2,500 women annually across 11 office locations.

In 2015, Dr. Blackwell, and the UT Physicians Marketing team were looking for a technology solution to meet the needs of the women visiting the OB/GYN practices.

THE OUTCOMES

After a successful pilot, UT Physicians is using Babyscripts as the system-wide digital health solution. Babyscripts will help the practice standardize patient education, track patients gestational weight gain and deliver an app with custom content for each practice location. Additionally, UT Physicians was able to leverage Babyscripts customized campaigns as Hurricane Harvey hit the Houston area. Concerned about how to get the best safety information into the hands of their expecting moms, UT Physicians worked with Babyscripts to use text messages, push notifications, and in-app resources, to push out critical information instantly.
